Martin has been coaching since 2004. He initially started his coaching career in football before moving into tennis. Having worked with Watford FC and Luton Town FC.

Martin has worked with players of all abilities and levels. He has a track record of transitioning players from the junior circuit to the professional game and has spent over a decade on the ITF and ATP Tour. Martin has a wealth of experience and knowledge of the physical demands at all levels of the game. Martin was the personal touring coach for Aljaz Bedene (#43 ATP), Tara Moore (#139 WTA) and Nick Kyrgios (#13 ATP).

Martin is also an LTA-qualified tennis coach and has a keen eye for developing the efficiency of movement patterns with his players.
