A MORNING WITH ATP PRO JACK DRAPER
MEET FORMER UT PLAYER – WEDNESDAY 6TH NOVEMBER
We are thrilled to announce a very special event at Unique Tennis! On Wednesday, November 6th, we will be hosting an exclusive morning with professional tennis star Jack Draper.
After spending 4 years working with Ryan Jones, with the last 2 years using Unique Tennis as his training base, Jack is returning to share his journey with our current players. Following his recent.
semi-final run at the US Open and reaching a career-high ranking of 19 ATP, this is an opportunity not to be missed!
What to Expect:
- Watch Jack Draper in action as he demonstrates his skills on the court.
- Participate in an exclusive Q&A session with both players and parents.
RSVP Now!
To confirm your attendance, please RSVP as soon as possible. We also ask that you send in:
- 1 question from the player
- 1 question from the parent
If any players need an official letter for their school to excuse them for this event, let us know, and we’ll be happy to provide it.
This is sure to be an unforgettable experience, and we are grateful to Jack for giving up his morning to inspire and give back to the academy he once called home.
ALAN JONES
Memorial Evening
It was a beautiful evening remembering Alan Jones at Hazelwood for family, friends, unique tennis players & club members to reminisce, smile and tell those stories about Alan that we cherish. He will be missed every single day but we will make sure we keep his legacy going through Unique Tennis.
Players Results
TOTO
Toto recently competed in the four nations team event. He enjoyed his time supporting the team and did well winning his singles and doubles match on route to england claiming the trophy
SAHARA
Huge Congratulations to Sahara Baptiste who won the U11 National Championships at Nottingham over the summer. Winning all her group matches and then a further 4 matches in the knockout stages to claim the title. This was even more impressive achieving this a year early.
Well Done to all the players that competed in the national championships in August this year. We hope to see more players have the opportunity to compete in this event over the coming years!
Player Contracts for 2024/25
The player agreements dated September 2024 have all been sent out for the upcoming academy year. We however still haven’t received all of them back. It’s vital we have all these back ASAP for players to be on court. If for whatever reason you haven’t received one then please reach out to one of the team so we can get this resolved. Part of this is an important Health declaration we need from all players.
Class 4 Kids
We are moving to digital registers for attendance. If you haven’t signed up on class 4 kids can you please do so using the link below https://unique-tennis.classforkids.io/info/3
Term Dates
Both the Tuesday/Friday evening programme & the Wednesday/Thursday early morning programme are during term time only. Therefore the following dates these sessions won’t be running: 28th Oct - 3rd Nov 23rd Dec - 5th Jan Any players that attend these sessions can access the full time programme during the holidays, just get in contact with the team.
Monday/Thursday RPDC
During the school holidays we would like to invite all the Mon/Thur RPDC squad players into the full time programme. As there is generally a number of tournaments taking place it makes sense to fill the day time rather than only a few players turning up for the evening session. It also gives greater flexibility for players to attend around their tournament schedules.
Social Media
Thanks for everyones continued efforts on social media with helping us to have content to share with our followers. Keep making sure you create those posts and stories on the various different social media channels
Player Review Meetings
Any full time players or RPDC players that haven’t yet booked in or had their player review meeting please make sure you either respond via email or on the what’s app group to get these booked in over the next week or two. It’s an opportunity for the players to sit down and discuss about their development over the next 6 months as well as putting a tournament plan in place
