THEODORE LEE – Why we chose UT

Back in May 2023, an email came through confirming that Toto has been longlisted to join a RPDC. At the point of receiving this news, we started to research the RPDCs; and in conversation with Toto, we only had two RPDCs on our mind. We chose UT. Due to logistic challenges (travel distance and traffic conditions from Guildford), choosing UT meant we have some time and operational management to consider.

This includes communicating (and working closely) with the school and our respective workplace, along with UT coaching team, to work out the most efficient and effective timing and delivery pattern for all parties. Constant communication is a must! One would ask why we decided to invest so much in getting Toto to attend UT. Well, we saw our shadows, values, principles, and beliefs in UT.

It was a truly inspiring experience, and we’re sure all the players relished the chance to hit with one of the sport’s rising stars. Jack’s generosity with his time and his honest insights left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
